Arts and Crafts

Join experienced artist / tutor Karen MacDougall to explore these fascinating topics. We will consider the elements of art along with the principles of art, focussing particularly on colour. We will look at examples from art history, and learners will research a relevant topic and present to the group. Learners will also have the opportunity to develop a body of their own work in an area of their choice pre-agreed with the tutor.

Our Upper Intermediate level classes are ideal for those learners who have attended our Beginner, Improver and Intermediate level classes, or who meet the required standard as a result of previous learning. Please note this course is designed to be delivered over a full academic year, covering three terms.
