You will learn how to work with watercolour in an experimental way to create exciting and dynamic paintings whilst learning the basic skills needed for watercolour painting.

Do you want to improve your reading skills? Do you want to join a fun and friendly class? If the answer is yes then this could be the right course for you! By the end of this course your knowledge and skills will have improved and you will be confident to: use prepositions, adverbials and connectives, use knowledge of common words to understand text and find information, use detailed reading to find specific information. If this sounds very complicated do not worry! You will work with an experienced and enthusiastic ESOL tutor and a group of your peers to develop the skills and knowledge to achieve this qualification and be in the best position to move forward with your studies. You need to be able to attend classes each week and complete homework to give you the best chance of success. By the end of the course you will feel more confident to be able to: Understand directions and instructions, use intonation appropriately in statements and questions, use knowledge of grammatical detail e.g. past and present, continuous tense, present perfect tense, ‘used to’ understand text. You will be confident to use a range of ‘wh’ – questions, yes/no and open questions using different tenses. You will be able to give a short description using a range of adjectives, comparatives and superlatives. If this sounds daunting don`t worry! You will work with your peers and an experienced and enthusiastic ESOL tutor to develop the skills and knowledge to need to achieve this qualification and be in a positive position to move to further study. Do you want to improve your writing skills? Join a supportive class and work with your peers to start your learning journey on the ESOL Skills for Life suite of qualifications. By the end of the course you will be more confident in: writing simple text and communicating information and ideas. You will understand the difference between a range of simple text layouts e.g. invitation, messages and envelopes. You will be able to use verbs and capital letters where appropriate in your writing. You will spell personal vocabulary and common words correctly. Do not worry if this sounds a lot and a bit daunting because you will be supported every step of the way! You will need to be able to attend classes each week to complete the guided learning hours for this qualification and to give you the best chance of success. You will develop the skills and knowledge to allow you to move forward confidently in your ESOL journey.
