Join experienced artist / tutor Karen MacDougall to explore these fascinating topics. We will consider light and shadow, looking at portraits, and then put together all the topics - perception of spaces, edges, relationships, light and shadows to complete our drawing year.

Digital Skills

This course is for those with a good level of ICT knowledge and skills. It further expands and develops at a higher level the skills and knowledge gained from the beginners course in how to use a computer.  You will use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word as well as the internet, email and manage folders at a more advanced level to increase your competency in using a computer.

Arts and Crafts

Join experienced artist / tutor Karen MacDougall to explore these fascinating topics. We will consider the elements of art along with the principles of art, focussing particularly on colour. We will look at examples from art history, and learners will research a relevant topic and present to the group. Learners will also have the opportunity to develop a body of their own work in an area of their choice pre-agreed with the tutor.
