This is an exciting course that teaches you to paint in a variety of different paints. You will use watercolour, gouache and acrylic to create different types of paintings in many different styles. You’ll experiment with different brush strokes, colour palettes, mark making and composition.

This course is designed for those absolute beginners who want an introduction to using digital devices. Learn to understand the terminology, what are input and output devices, how to create folders and store documents. Be able to create, edit, save and print simple documents using Word and Excel. By the end of the course your reading skills will have improved and you will be in a really good position to continue your study in ESOL, or other areas of our curriculum offer. You will need to be able to attend classes each week to complete the guided learning hours for this qualification to give you the best chance of success. You will work with an experienced and supportive ESOL tutor to gain the skills and knowledge you need to achieve the ESOL Skills for Life Award in Reading at Entry Level 3. You will be asked to complete homework and additional independent study too, this is really important to allow you to do well and achieve your potential.
