About the course:
This is a creative painting course that will introduce you to the joys of painting! You will paint a variety of subjects from still life to landscapes and portraits in different styles using different types of paint. Each type of paint will give a unique look and feel, and each paint will need different skills to master it. You will be inspired by traditional and contemporary artists and find a style of your own. The course will be fun and relaxed and is perfect for painters who enjoy experimenting with different styles and techniques.How will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered face to face in a small group setting, with a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
What do I need to bring?
A selection of paintbrushes, a water pot, palette, an A4 sketchbook and a set of acrylic paints, gouache and watercolours. Good budget ranges of materials can be bought from local outlets.
What are the entry requirements?
Some painting and drawing skills are desirable but not essential. If you have a desire to create and also to experiment with different styles and techniques, this course is perfect for you.
