How will the course be delivered?

This is a face to face course. You'll be taught by our amazing tutor Christine who has a degree in textiles and over 20 years experience in supporting people to improve their sewing skills. She has a particular interest in the social impact of textiles.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to provide your own basic sewing kit. This should include: fabric scissors, needle and thread, tape measure, pins, seam ripper and a pencil. need items from your wardrobe as the course progresses and you tutor will advise you on the types and amount of fabric required.

This is a beginners course so there are no entry requirements other than to be keen to recycle and keen to develop your skills with textiles.

What can I do next?
