About the course:
This course focuses on repurposing clothing by taking them apart and reconstructing them into a new upcycled item of clothing or accessory. You bring along a few clothing items that are damaged, stained, or unloved to our pop-up studio. With tutor guidance, the potential of your clothing items to be upcycled will be explored. You will learn deconstruction approaches, along with restyling and re imagining. These small group sessions give you tutor support and guidance in developing your skill and confidence in re imagining clothing that has lost their appeal or usefulness and in doing so, divert them away from landfills and re imagine them back into your wardrobe. How will the course be delivered?
