About the course:
Many people find art galleries intimidating places, as it can be difficult to know how to understand artwork. In this 2-week course you will find different ways to appreciate and discuss art, exploring the history, cultural significance, and diverse styles and techniques of a range of artists from the Old Masters to Contemporary Artists from all over the world. By the end of this course you will have developed your confidence and understanding when stepping into gallery spaces. No knowledge of art history is needed!How will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered face to face by our amazing art tutor Amy.
What do I need to bring?
No materials are necessary, but feel free to bring a notebook and pen for taking notes. If you have any art pieces or topics you are particularly interested in discussing, you are welcome to bring those as well.
