About the course:
This is a creative acrylic painting course that builds on previous learning. Learners will continue to experiment with different painting styles and techniques, but progress into painting more challenging topics such as seascapes and skies, contemporary landscapes and still life. You will work in both contemporary and traditional styles becoming more confident in paint application, composition, and colour mixing.

What do I need to bring?
A selection of paintbrushes, a water pot, palette, an A3 sketchbook and 7 acrylic paints - Titanium white, Payne’s Grey, Phthalo Blue, Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium Red, Crimson Red and Lemon Yellow. Graduate paints are reasonably priced at The Range or Hobbycraft.
What are the entry requirements?
Some painting and drawing skills are desirable but not essential. If you have a desire to create and also to experiment with different styles and techniques, this course is perfect for you.
