About the course:
When your confidence is low it can affect all aspects of your life. We'll work in small groups to focus on building your communication skills and using positive body language. You'll learn ways to deal with different types of people and have the opportunity to practice in a supportive setting.
How will the course be delivered?
You will work directly with your tutor as part of a small group in one of our local learning spaces. The sessions will include discussion and sharing ideas, you will have short tasks to complete and will receive materials to keep and to stimulate your own further learning in the future.
What do I need to bring?
You should bring a pen and a notebook to each session.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no entry requirements, just a desire to help yourself and develop your confidence.
What can I do next?
On completion of this course you can progress to a range of other courses and workshops including courses on mindfulness, personal development or positive thinking and self-esteem. You may also choose to progress to an English, maths or IT course.
How well am I doing?
Your tutor will tell you how you are doing in the sessions and your progress will be recorded in your Individual Progress Record. You will work with your tutor to identify any particular areas that you want to improve and your tutor will support you to achieve your goals.
