About the course:
In this course participants will gain hands-on experience of how to create felted pictures and abstract pieces. You will learn about bonding wool fibres together using the wet felting method, laying out the loose fibres correctly to create new and unique fabrics in both flat and 3D forms. There will also be an introduction to basic needle felting – using the technique to add detail and embellishment to your work. Towards the end of the course all learners will create their own personal piece of felted art in a style of their choosing.How will the course be delivered?
This course will be delivered face to face by our fantastic art tutor Karen Akers.

All basic felt making materials are included in the £10 materials fee which is part of the course cost.
