About the course:
This is an exciting course that covers all types of non-digital illustration. Learners are encouraged to experiment with different media and techniques such as 3D images, printing, model making, and to look for inspiration from contemporary and traditional illustration in books, advertising and online.
How will the course be delivered?
Face to face
What do I need to bring?
A selection of drawing tools, pens, pencils, a cheap set of acrylics and gouache (The Works offer good value!), paintbrushes, a palette, water pot, scissors, tacky glue and a sketchbook for planning ideas.
What are the entry requirements?
More than anything, you need to have a mind full of ideas. You will learn skills and techniques, but it’s the thought process behind an illustration that’s most important.
What can I do next?
There are many other art and craft courses you might want to try through Adult Learning.
How well am I doing?
You’ll be given regular verbal and written feedback.
