About the course:
The course will focus on developing skills through experimentation. Each week will focus on a different theme or skill, from mark making, tone, form, drawing objects, perspective, texture, sketching and include a range of drawing media. With step-by-step instructions, you will learn to experiment with different techniques and be shown how these methods can be used to develop skills and create lively drawings. For inspiration, we will also look at several examples from famous artists and analyse the techniques they've used to create their drawings.
How will the course be delivered?
Through detailed step-by-step demonstrations, discussions and regular support and encouragement.

Other materials will be provided for you to experiment with and will be explained to you on the first week, should you wish to bring or buy your own.
