About the course:
We'll continue our journey through art and design techniques to develop your creativity and support mindfulness. We'll further develop our mindful journalling and see how well-known artists can influence our own sketchbooks.This is a practical course to de-stress and realise your creative potential, as well as forging new social connections and friendship groups.
How will the course be delivered?
This course will be delivered online using Zoom. You will need a stable internet connection on a good-sized screen and a camera or microphone.
*This is an online course delivered using Zoom, in real time with live interaction with your tutor and fellow learners. Learners will join the class from home and be able to exchange and interact with other learners as they would in the classroom (speaking and listening). Learners will be required to turn on their camera throughout the session for safeguarding compliance. There will be a discussion and demonstration. You will have opportunities to discuss and ask questions- this is an interactive course with the Tutor present throughout.
What do I need to bring?
Pencils, rubber, ruler, sketch book and paper. Christine will advise you after enrolment.
What are the entry requirements?
This is a follow-on course to Art for Wellbeing: Supporting Mental Health through Drawing 1.
What can I do next?
You could move onto Improvers Drawing at the same time on Friday or you could move onto Building Confidence.
How well am I doing?
Your tutor will tell you how you are doing in your lessons and your progress will be recorded in your Individual Progress Record. You will work with your tutor to identify any areas that you want to improve, and your tutor will support you to achieve your goals.
