About the course:
In this short course you will find out about different forms of dementia, how to communicate to people with dementia, how to take care of yourself and the changes in the brain that occur when someone is suffering with dementia.
How will the course be delivered?
This course will be delivered face to face by our wonderful tutor Julie.
What do I need to bring?
You should bring a pen and a notebook to each session.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no entry requirements, just a desire to learn more about dementia.
What can I do next?
On completion of this course you can progress to a range of other courses and workshops including courses on personal development, confidence and communication. You may like to enrol on a accredited mental health course or progress to an English, maths or IT course.

Your tutor will tell you how you are doing in the sessions and your progress will be recorded in your Individual Progress Record.
