About the course

Inspired by nature, and seasonal resources, this course encourages both mindful making and creative reuse. Using a range of recycled, upcycled and environmentally conscious materials, learners will create festive decorations and gifts inspired by winter nature, botanical forms and seasonal colours. Each week you will explore a variety of creative processes, including drawing, painting, wire sculpture and monoprinting, with an emphasis on reducing waste and finding new uses for everyday materials. Each session focuses on a different technique or material, with gentle guidance and demonstrations provided throughout. Learners are supported to work at their own pace, explore personal ideas and build confidence in making creative and sustainable choices. This course is suitable for beginners. All activities are adaptable, and support is offered throughout each session. Materials are provided where possible, with a focus on sustainable and reused resources, and no prior knowledge is required, just a willingness to explore, create and enjoy an environmentally conscious approach to seasonal creativity.
