About the course:

This introductory course introduces the art of wire sculpture, focusing on nature-inspired designs. Participants will learn essential techniques, from shaping organic forms to adding dimension with different gauges and colours of wire. Participants will explore the balance between aesthetic design and structural stability, ensuring their creations are both visually captivating and durable.

How will the course be delivered?

This course will be delivered face to face by our amazing Art tutor Amy. There will be a mixture of tutor demonstration, discussion and hands-on creative activities to help you develop your skills and confidence.

What do I need to bring?

All equipment is provided but if you have your own needle-nosed pliers or wire cutters (such as those used in jewellery making) you are welcome to bring those.

What are the entry requirements?

This class is suitable for complete beginners or those with some experience; all you need is a passion for sculpture and a creative mindset.
