About the course:
This course is ideal for those who are interested in gaining basic knowledge on how to use Microsoft Office. By the end of this course you will be able to create, edit, save and print a Microsoft Office Word Document, Excel Spreadsheet, PowerPoint Presentation and a Publisher document
How will the course be delivered?
You will work directly with your tutor as part of a small group covering the course aims. Your tutor will feed back to you throughout each session on your progress. You will also have homework tasks to complete between each session and you will receive feedback on the work submitted.
What do I need to bring?
A Notebook and pen and glasses if you need them. You could also bring a memory stick (USB/flash drive) to save your work to if you like
What are the entry requirements?
This course is designed for students who have basic computer knowledge and would like to gain confidence. Learners should already have some knowledge of using a PC, ideally already completed an Introduction to IT course.
What can I do next?
On successful completion of this course you can progress onto a Nationally Accredited Qualification such as the new Essential Digital Skills Qualification or many of our other Digital Skills courses and workshops.

Your Tutor will provide you with regular feedback verbally in lessons and recorded in your Individual Progress Record (IPR) from reviews.
