About the course
As artists, you can learn a lot from studying other artists. We will look at the basic history of watercolour painting and each week, we will focus on a different artist or art movement. We will analysis each artist's painting and discuss the techniques used and then attempt to apply the skills learned to our own compositions. Artists studied will include J M W Turner, John Blockley, David Hockney and Helen Frankenthaler, along with many others.
How the course will be delivered
Through detailed step-by-step demonstrations, discussions and regular support and encouragement.
