About the course
Through both drawing and painting and using a variety of materials such as pencil, acrylic paint and pastel you will learn how to draw and paint winter trees, bring life to winter scenery and convey colour, tone and form in your work.
How the course will be delivered
You'll be taught by Karen our highly qualified art tutor. Throughout the course your tutor will give you feedback and encouragement.The course will be delivered via a
mixture of tutor demonstration, discussion and
experimentation, building your confidence and leading towards an independently created final piece of artwork.
What you'll need to bring
No need to buy any materials ahead of the course starting, basic resources to get you started will be supplied and Karen will discuss with you the most suitable art materials to buy to help you continue your artistic journey.
Entry requirements
Ideally you will have completed a beginner’s painting and drawing courses within the last 1-2 years or be able to show equivalent knowledge and skills e.g. from other prior learning.
