About the course:
Explore landscape composition through drawing and painting, using a variety of materials such as pencil, paint, and pastel. You'll learn how to balance both formal and informal elements to create a well-rounded, visually compelling composition.
How will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered through a combination of tutor demonstrations, group discussions, and hands-on experimentation, helping you build your confidence and progress towards an independently created final artwork.
What do I need to bring?
There’s no need to purchase materials before the course begins. Basic resources will be provided to get you started, and Karen will guide you in selecting the best materials for your continued artistic journey.
What are the entry requirements?
Ideally, you will have completed our beginner’s painting and drawing courses within the past 1-2 years or possess equivalent knowledge and skills from prior learning.
What can I do next?
You can continue your art journey with any of the other classes we have on offer. This could lead to an art course focusing on a specific skill or technique or a creative arts qualification. Information, advice & guidance is available from your tutor to help identify the best follow-on course for you.
How well am I doing?
Throughout the course your tutor will give you personalised feedback and encouragement. You will also complete an Individual Progress Report (IPR) to track your progress.
