About the course
Many of us use devices these days to access online services, email, Social Media, online banking and shopping. It's difficult to image how we would do things without them, so it's really important we are cyber aware. The Internet can seem like a huge and scary place, so it’s vital to understand the risks and what steps can you take to keep yourself and your family safe. On this short course, you will be introduced to some of the most common risks, learn about cybercrime and the effects it has on individuals and organisations and learn ways to mitigate them.
How the course will be delivered
You will work directly with your tutor as part of a small group covering the course aims. Your tutor will feed back to you throughout each session on your progress.
What you'll need to bring
You might find a pen and notebook handy to take notes and if you wear glasses don't forget to bring those too.
