About the course:
Placements are required for achievement of this qualification. A minimum of 350 placement hours is required. During placement, learners will need support from a professional within the real work environment who will be required to complete professional development records.

What do I need to bring?
On enrolment you will need to upload ID, any benefits or proof of residency as they are funded courses and you need to prove eligibility
What are the entry requirements?
This course is funded via the National Skills Fund. You will be eligible for funding if:
Your income is below the income threshold applicable to your region. We can provide guidance on this when you inquire.
OR
You do not hold a Level 3 qualification in any subject (equivalent to 2 full A levels, an advanced technical certificate or diploma)
You must also:
Currently live in England
Resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years, for purposes other than study.
If you are not eligible for funding, you can fund your qualification with an Advanced Learner Loan with nothing to pay until you earn over £27,660k a year.
What can I do next?
Learners can progress to the Level 4 Certificate for the Early Years Advanced Practitioner or other higher-level early years qualifications.
Upon achievement of this qualification learners will gain their license to practice and it is intended that learners will be able to enter the workforce as Early Years Educators. Learners can progress into various job roles in the statutory, voluntary or private sectors such as:
Assistant in Children's Centres
Practitioner in nursery schools
Practitioner in reception classes in primary schools
Pre-school worker
How well am I doing?
You will be allocated a tutor who will keep in touch and provide robust written feedback on each of your units and let you know if y have passed. If you don’t quite meet the criteria your tutor will guide you and you can resubmit units until you show competency and understanding.
