About the course

If you have completed a beginner’s course and want to know more or don't feel quite ready to do a qualification, this is a great course to prepare you for the next steps in your digital learning! This course is ideal for you if you already have some experience with using computers and are interested in developing your knowledge further from a Beginners course.

How the course will be delivered

You will work directly with your tutor as part of a small group covering the course aims. Your tutor will feed back to you throughout each session on your progress.

What you'll need to bring

A Notebook and pen and glasses if you need them. You could also bring a memory stick (USB/flash drive) to save your work to if you like.

Entry requirements

A familiarity with Microsoft Office would be an advantage. You may have already completed the Introduction to IT, a Beginners Computer course or have some computer experience already from either the workplace or personal use.

On successful completion of this course you can progress onto a Level 2 Digital & IT Skills Qualification or many of our other Digital Skills courses and workshops.
