About the course:

The objective of the qualification is to allow learners to gain knowledge and understanding of:

the impact and consequences of a fall

risks and hazards which contribute to falls

reducing the risk of falls

The qualification also covers the importance of recording and reporting any incidence of falls to ensure that interventions can be put in place to reduce the risk and re occurrence of falls.

This qualification is aimed at anyone working in a healthcare or social care environment, particularly those that support or have contact with older people who have an increased propensity to falls.

Online Only - Using Online Learning material and submitting answers on an online portal.

What do I need to bring?

On enrolment you will need to upload ID, any benefits or proof of residency as they are funded courses and you need to prove eligibility.

What are the entry requirements?

No specific qualifications required but a good knowledge of english and potential background knowledge of subject might be good.

How well am I doing?

You will be allocated a tutor who will keep in touch and provide robust written feedback on each of your units and let you know if you have passed. If you don’t quite meet the criteria your tutor will guide you and you can resubmit units until you show competency and understanding.
