About the course

On this course you will be introduced to the basic techniques and qualities of watercolour paint. You will learn how to apply fluid washes and use layers to build up a depth of colour. Through simple painting exercises you will gain confidence in this popular medium.

How the course will be delivered

The course will be delivered via a mixture of tutor demonstration, discussion and experimentation, building your confidence and leading towards an independently created final piece of artwork.

What you'll need to bring

No need to buy any materials ahead of the course, resources to get you started will be supplied and as the course progresses Karen will discuss with you the most suitable equipment and materials to buy to help you continue on your artistic journey.
