About the course:

Upcycling is such a fun way to use discarded clothes and soft furnishings, it is so rewarding and is great for the environment to. You will be taught by Christine who is a Textile Teacher and artist with over 20 years experience. You will learn how to be creative with sewing and embroidery techniques and produce beautiful stitched pieces for yourself or as gifts.

How will the course be delivered?

You will work directly with your tutor as part of a small group covering the course aims. Your tutor will feed back to you throughout each session on your progress.

What do I need to bring?

You might find a pen and notebook handy to take notes and if you wear glasses don't forget to bring those too.

What are the entry requirements?

No prior experience required

What can I do next?

You will have a discussion with your tutor to identify the best way forward for you individually. Some of the options could be Seeking Employment, Embracing Change or one of our workshops. You may also want to consider one of our English, Maths or IT courses.

How well am I doing?

Your Tutor will provide you with regular feedback verbally in lessons and recorded in your Individual Progress Record (IPR) from reviews.
