About the course:
This course will introduce you to mixed media creative textile design. We will create simple drawings and paintings from life and from reference photos and use those as a starting point for our textile art – turning line into stitch and areas of colour into paint, print and applique.How will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered via a mixture of tutor demonstration, discussion and experimentation. Building your confidence and leading towards you creating an independent textile artwork.
What do I need to bring?
There’s no need to purchase any materials before the course—essential supplies to get you started will be provided. Karen will also guide you in choosing the most suitable resources to support your artistic journey moving forward.
What are the entry requirements?
No experience is necessary, just an interest in art and textile design and a passion for creativity. If you are up for experimenting and enjoying the process, then this is the perfect course for you.
