About the course:

If you want to be able to use your sewing machine to repair clothes but not sure where to start then this course is for you. You will be taught by Christine a Textile Artist who has over 20 years of experience in teaching textiles. You will learn how to use and maintain your sewing machine and how to use free machine embroidery to embellish and repair textiles.

How will the course be delivered?

You will work directly with your tutor as part of a small group covering the course aims. Your tutor will feed back to you throughout each session on your progress.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring your own sewing machine.

Some experience in sewing

What can I do next?

You will have a discussion with your tutor to identify the best way forward for you individually. Some of the options could be Seeking Employment, Embracing Change or one of our workshops. You may also want to consider one of our English, Maths or IT courses.

How well am I doing?

Your Tutor will provide you with regular feedback verbally in lessons and recorded in your Individual Progress Record (IPR) from reviews.
