About the course:

Guided by the traditions of the Old Masters, this beginners drawing course teaches the fundamentals of drawing and materials, copying the prepared lithograph from the Charles Bargue Drawing Course. There will be several exercises to assess your initial drawing level. You will learn how to see accurately and work confidently, using measuring, proportion and an understanding of light and tone to create three-dimensional form. Taught by classically trained artist Tom Boyle.

How will the course be delivered?

This course will be delivered face to face. It will be a mixture of tutor demonstration, discussion, seeing how others have completed similar tasks and lots of learning from each other. The tutor will give you feedback and encouragement throughout the session.
