About the course:

Explore the art of still life drawing and painting with a focus on natural forms. This course encourages you to observe and depict elements of nature such as flowers, fruits, shells, and leaves. You'll practice fundamental techniques like composition, rendering, and working with light and shadow. Using both drawing and painting mediums, you'll experiment with organic shapes, textures, and colours to create expressive artworks. This beginner-friendly course introduces the fundamentals of drawing and painting, designed to help you build confidence in your artistic skills.

How will the course be delivered?

This course will be delivered face to face by our amazing Art tutor Amy. There will be a mixture of tutor demonstration, discussion and hands-on creative activities to help you develop your skills and confidence.

What do I need to bring?

All equipment will be provided, but if you have good quality pencils, pens, or paints, feel free to bring these with you.

What are the entry requirements?

This class is suitable for complete beginners or those with some experience; all you need is a passion for art and a creative mindset.
