About the course

The workshop offers a gentle, hands-on introduction to the expressive art of wire sculpture. Designed with beginners in mind, the course guides learners through the process of observing bird shapes, understanding basic proportions, and using simple wire-bending techniques to build a small three-dimensional garden bird. You will experiment with different gauges of wire, learn how to create structure and form. The pace is relaxed and supportive, allowing learners to build confidence with tools and materials while developing their own creative approach. By the end of the workshop, each learner will have a completed wire bird sculpture to take home, along with the foundational skills to continue exploring wire art independently.
