About the course
The workshop offers a warm, seasonal introduction to mosaic-making, perfect for learners who want to explore creativity in a relaxed, enjoyable setting. Throughout the course, participants experiment with colour, pattern, and texture while designing a small festive-themed mosaic using tiles, glass pieces, or recycled materials. Learners are guided step by step through planning a design, arranging mosaic pieces, and completing their artwork with simple, beginner-friendly techniques. The focus is on creativity, confidence-building, and the wellbeing benefits of slow, hands-on making. By the end of the session, each participant will have a unique festive mosaic to take home—ideal as a decoration or handmade gift—and the foundational skills to continue exploring mosaic craft independently.

All tools and materials are provided, and no previous art or craft experience is needed.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements. This workshop is designed to be fully accessible to anyone interested in trying mosaic craft for the first time. Learners simply need: A willingness to try a new creative activity, an interest in craft, decoration or hands-on making
