About the course:
This is an exciting new course for people who enjoy both art and craft. You will make three non-stitched journals from a selection of paper and an old hardback book (which will become an altered journal) based around themes that are familiar, such as nature, colour and family. You will create different textures and marks on the pages using a variety of techniques such as printing, collaging and painting, then decorate the pages using drawings, illustrations, painting or collage. You can use quotes, your own words or simply use it as a visual record. The course will be very experimental, so you will need to enjoy letting go and seeing what happens! How will the course be delivered?
