About the course:
This an exciting course that allows your imagination to run wild. You’ll be given topics to illustrate in different styles, techniques and media and be inspired by current and past illustrators. You will look at graphic novels, editorial work, book illustration and advertising illustration. You’ll gain confidence in your ideas and how to put them down on paper, and above all you will discover your own style and how to polish that to a high standard. The class is relaxed and fun and ideal for people who want to do something different with their art.How will the course be delivered?
The course will be delivered face to face in a small group setting, with a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
What do I need to bring?
Pencils, a sketchbook, pens, and other media needed will be discussed in the first class. All materials can be bought cheaply at local outlets.
What are the entry requirements?
Some drawing skills are needed but more essential are ideas and how to put them on to paper.
