This course is a journey into the world of art, designed to deepen your understanding and enjoyment of various art styles, techniques, and movements. Each week covers a unique theme: from the fundamentals of art and its history to interpreting visual narratives, exploring diverse cultures, and discovering modern and contemporary art. The course combines engaging discussions with hands-on activities to help you connect with art and integrate its appreciation into your everyday life. By the end, participants will gain a comprehensive perspective on art's role across time, society, and personal experiences. No prior knowledge of Art History needed!

What you'll need to bring
You will need a pen and notebook to take notes. You will also need plasticine/play dough, and colouring pencils or watercolour paints to help understand some of the points when we discuss form, shape, texture, and colour.
