About the course

This Ascentis Level 2 Award in Mental Health and Wellbeing qualification covers the different types of conditions and impacts of mental health. It introduces you to key issues in mental health, raising awareness of sensitive topics and providing guidance to support yourself and others.

How the course will be delivered

The course will be delivered by one of our specialist tutors. Activities will often include discussions, group and pair work, written work, Q&A and worksheets. Your tutor will ensure that the lessons are engaging, interactive and supportive. This qualification is assessed through a portfolio of evidence that your will build as the course progresses.

What you'll need to bring

You need to bring a pen, notebook and any other items guided by your tutor. If your course is in our online classroom (Zoom) you will need a computer, smart phone or tablet and a good internet connection.

Entry requirements

You will need to demonstrate through an initial assessment that this level 2 qualification is the right level for you. Ideally you will have achieved the Level 1 Award in Mental Health and Wellbeing and/or have at least a level 1 qualification in English.
