This course introduces you to the fundamental values that underpin British society. Designed for learners new to the UK and working towards an Entry 3 qualification, it will explore topics such as democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect, and tolerance. This course will not only help you understand these important principles but also provide opportunities to develop your English language skills through discussion and activities related to these values.

How will the course be delivered?

You will work directly with your tutor as part of a small group covering the course aims. Your tutor will feed back to you throughout each session on your progress.

What do I need to bring?

You might find a pen and notebook handy to take notes and if you wear glasses don't forget to bring those too.

What are the entry requirements?

There are no specific entry requirements for this course.

What can I do next?

You will have a discussion with your tutor to identify the best way forward for you individually. Some of the options could be Seeking Employment, Embracing Change or one of our workshops. You may also want to consider one of our English, Maths or IT courses.

How well am I doing?

Your Tutor will provide you with regular feedback verbally in lessons and recorded in your Individual Progress Record (IPR) from reviews.
