About the course
This portfolio-based qualification is for adults who want to develop and extend their digital skills to maximise the tools available in different software’s to prepare, process and produce a wide range of sophisticated and professional documents accurately and efficiently. The 6 credit qualification will be awarded to learners who successfully achieve an approved combination of units through a Portfolio of evidence that has been successfully verified and monitored through the awarding bodies Quality Assurance process. Achievement is by successful completion of unit assessments.
How the course will be delivered
You will work directly with your tutor as part of a small group covering the course aims. Your tutor will feed back to you throughout each session on your progress. You will also have homework tasks to complete between each session and you will receive feedback on the work submitted.
What you'll need to bring
A Notebook and pen and glasses if you need them. As this is a portfolio based course, we will provide a folder and USB but please feel free to bring your own lever arch file and a memory stick (USB/flash drive) to save your work to.
Entry requirements
Learners will be required to take an initial assessment prior to starting this course to make sure they are on the right level for them and to ensure they have the necessary underpinning knowledge and skills to undertake the course Learners are expected to have some prior knowledge and experience of digital and IT skills, for example the Essential Digital Skills Qualification Level 1. This course is not suitable for the complete Beginner.
