About the course
The aim of the course is to produce a range of linked artwork. We will look at famous pieces of art and poetry as starting points for out work. There will be a chance to try different media from oil pastels, soft pastels, drawing pencils, watercolour pencils and paint. When needed, step-by-step instructions and guidance will be provided by your tutor, to show you how to use the techniques taught to build up an image. You will collate your artwork in a sketchbook as a record of your art journey and create a personalised front cover.

A selection of materials will be provided for you to use.
Entry requirements
No formal entry requirements. It is a beginners course for learners who want to learn the basics and have a willingness to experiment.
