Why Multiply and ENGage?

• One in four adults avoid applying for jobs if it is listed using numbers and data  as a requirement.
• 15% of adults have been told "they are not a numbers person" thus affecting their maths confidence
• More than half the working age population has the numeracy and literacy level expected of a primary school child
• Just one in five people who took a set of five numeracy and literacy test questions achieved the level of Grade 4 (equiv. C)
